Blog Post 2: Florals for Spring….how original.

Regarding changes for the blog itself, I went with a few basics.

I changed the theme to ‘Button’. My eye was drawn to it simply because I enjoyed the simplicity of the design. Functional, yet somewhat elegant. Additionally, I felt that it would pair nicely with the Header Image of theĀ Vogue Magazine.

As for the colors, I went for purple for the title and a slightly muted green for the background. On the one hand, I for some reason enjoy the contrast between Green and Purple. On the other, I find the muted green of the background soothing and allows the purple to appear more vibrant.

And I altered the Title of the site and the tagline of the site. ‘Fashion and History’ for obvious reasons. As for the tagline, I chose it just because I had been listening to ‘Vogue’ by Madonna on my way home from work, so it was

fresh in my mind and I figured somewhat appropriate given the subject matter.

  2. Hi, Corey. Timelines JS seems to be one of the most popular tools. I am glad you seem comfortable using it. It is very exciting to see the advancement of your website. You might check out your third blog. It isn’t directly connected to your site. Thanks!
