Thank you for visiting this website about fashion and identity of different student organizations at MSU during the 1990s. We hope this website was accessible and informative. We welcome and appreciate your feedback in the form of comments.

This website was created for a COPLAC course taught by Dr. Brenda Brown, professor of English at University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma and Dr. Holly Kent, associate professor of History at University of Illinois at Springfield. COPLAC is the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges which aims to increase awareness and knowledge of the high quality of a liberal arts education. This course- Fashion & Identity in Modern America- focuses on the connections between fashion, popular culture, and identity.

This website could not have been created without help of specific individuals. We extended our gratitude to Dr. Brown, Dr. Kent, and Leah Tams for their advice, knowledge, and technology support throughout the semester. We again extended our thanks to Dr. Giddings and Dr. LaBeff for taking the time to be interviewed.

The creators of this website are both MSU students: Ashlee Fandrich, a senior English major, and Catherine Stepniak, a senior psychology and sociology major.
