More exploring

So this week I struck out on another grand adventure to view other students’ website progress.

First I visited JSU’s project website. I love the header image, as the building itself looking very 70’s, which relates to their project. Maybe adding some background information on JSU would be helpful for those of us unfamiliar with the university/area of the country. I like the organisation of subject matter, and the pictures uploaded so far look intriguing. I really like the website design, so I’m just waiting to see more information about the fashion itself. My own fashion tends to resemble stereotypical 70’s fashion, so seeing what real people wore will be enlightening.

I then traveled to USAO’s project site. The header image has a nice Robinson Crusoe Goes to Mar aesthetic. The only thing that confuses me is the “Black Tie-Cataclysms” phrase. I think I get the idea behind the project, but I have no idea what that means. Please enlighten me, it sounds interesting. The explanations behind the culture and the politics of this time period are very helpful. (It definitely is the why Dr. Brown mentioned in class.) It gives me some ideas for explanation of our project, though our project has more to do with local culture than national ideologies.

In short, I can’t wait to see everyone’s project and this has given me lots of idea for our project. So till next time, Adios!
