Since my final project focuses on 1960s fashion, why not customize my blog to reflect the decade? When choosing a theme for my site, I decided on “Button” to start off. This theme seemed to fit both my personal style and the 60s aesthetic more than the other themes available. Although, I really enjoyed the theme, I felt that I needed even more of the 60s to spice up my blog. To do so, I chose a bright green and orange floral background and added an image reflecting 60s fashion above my header. Finally, I darkened the orange hue of my header to tie everything together. The colors I chose mimic the bright hues of the 60s. Making these changes to the appearance of my blog was fun and easy, and I am pleased to see that my site now sets a mood for what I will be discussing in the weeks to come!
