This week I decided to look at UVA Wise and USAO!
First, I looked at UVA Wise, and I loved the theme! I thought the header image was really well thought out for her project, and the background image was rather cute and flirty. I don’t think it detracts from any information, but instead keeps the reader’s mind set in the 1960’s. My only critique would be that I’m unsure of how she will finish the whole project. It seems like a lot of information to put down that has yet to make it up yet. Though, I’m not counting her out!
Then USAO. I LOVE THE HEADER IMAGE! Wow! It’s so cool looking, and I can totally see where their project is going. I like how they have so many drop down menus because it really makes the site interactive. I also like how everything is laid out. My only critique is that I want to see more information up, but I understand that everyone has their own schedules! But the website looks amazing so far!
Ashlee–Good observations! Indeed, having just looked at our course sites, I find that there is still quite a bit of information that needs to be uploaded. Dr. Brown
I understand everyone’s got their own schedule, so I tried not to say too much about the lack of info, but that’s the most noticeable element at this point.
I’m glad you like my site so far! I definitely have my work cutout for me on my website, but hopefully everything will come together in the end.
